Smatmax encourages hand-eye coordination, logical thinking, colour recognition, form recognition in 2D & 3D, creativity, fine motor skills and group play.
Magnets have a magnetic north and south pole. The cold colors, green, blue, purple and white have their north poles directed outwards. The warm colors, red, orange, yellow and pink have their south poles directed outwards.
Unlike poles attract, like poles repel. All bars with a cold color can be connected to all bars with a warm color. All other combinations repel.
SmartMax balls are attracted by all bars, regardless of their color. More than 20 bars can be connected to one ball.
The magnets of the long bars are stronger than those of the short bars. Long bars can lift more weight or make stronger connections.
Don't worry about your toddler chewing or swallowing a SmartMax part. All our parts are bigger than 3cm and thereby don't fit a child's throat. SmartMax is made from high quality materials, which make the parts really strong.SmartMax parts are glued together and ultrasonicly welded for final assembly. This makes it impossible for toddlers to tear them apart.

Large items may take at least 3 business days to be delivered. Large items must be shipped to a physical address and cannot be shipped to a parcel locker or PO Box. There must also be someone present at the premises or it will be sent to the nearest collection point.
There may be additional fees (in addition to the bulky item charge) to remote/rural areas and Western Australia. If there is, an email will be sent to notify the recipient of any additional charges. If the recipient is not willing to pay the additional charges, we will refund the order.
Most items on our website are readily available at our warehouse and will be shipped within 1-3 business day of the order. If there is a delay in stock arrival (5 business days or more), our sales team will contact you via email or phone.
Please note that there may be a delay in your order over busy periods such as during sales or over Christmas.
Express shipping is available upon request and will be calculated based on the size of the order.
Delivery to hospitals located within Sydney metro areas is also possible by one of our team members. If you require urgent/immediate shipments of items within Sydney metro areas, please email info@babyharbour.com.au and we will try to accomodate your request.
